People Skills

This program teaches practical, effective communication skills to improve performance. Participants learn to increase productivity and morale through objective and empathic interactions with win-win results. Core interpersonal skills are integrated into participants’ own natural style and are applied to their daily work life.

LEARNING GOALS

In this course participants learn:

  • listening skills that reduce misunderstanding and foster positive dynamics in important working relationships;

  • agreement skills so they can delegate in ways that create clarity, commitment, and accountability;

  • conflict management skills that reduce tension and help people find creative solutions by identifying underlying needs;

  • confrontation skills to address substandard performance with candor;

  • advising and guiding skills to facilitate problem-solving sessions that build the competence and confidence of those being helped; and

  • coaching skills to improve day-to-day performance and develop the talent and bench strength of those being coached.


REINFORCEMENT
